Security Council says Russia’s economic safety needs amendments
MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- The concept of Russia’s economic security system has to be adjusted due to instability of the world economy, the Security Council said in a statement Tuesday quoting members of the councils’ scientific panel.
“Members of the scientific council have pointed out that new threats to Russia’s national security and stable development emerge under conditions of increasing instability of the world economy’s development and a rapid increase in global competition, so a necessity to renew conceptual approaches to formation of the economic security system has appeared,” the council said.
It is also necessary to form a wide assessment of existing and future threats and challenges to Russia’s national interests in economy, the council said.
